Meet Peter
PROFESSIONAL TUTOR
A Life-Long Dedication To Learning
Peter has been a teacher, tutor, and educator since graduating from Yale University in 1991 with a degree in Classical Languages, focusing on Greek and Latin. After finishing college Peter began work teaching Math and Latin at the two Jesuit high schools of the San Francisco Bay Area: St. Ignatius College Prep and Bellarmine College Prep. During this time, he also studied and performed clarinet extensively, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Clarinet Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Individual private tutoring had always been a component of Peter’s teaching, and in 1999 he went full-time, staying at St. Ignatius as the on-campus tutor until 2010. During this time he also earned a Master’s Degree in Liturgical Studies from the Graduate Theological Union at Berkeley.
Planting Community Roots
Family has always had a strong pull, bringing Peter and his wife, Rev. Julie Cedrone, home to their New England roots every summer at the Apple Hill Center for Chamber Music. Their family was growing, and with three children they knew that it was time to come home for good. Peter quickly built a clientele in the Northborough and Southborough communities and became an on-campus staff tutor at St. Mark’s School, starting in January, 2011. Since then, Peter has supplemented his individual tutoring with summer SAT/ACT test preparation, helping students crack the code of these standardized tests.
